If you want to maintain a healthy smile and avoid cavities, we recommend brushing your teeth at least twice per day with fluoride toothpaste. It would help if you also flossed daily as it’s important for removing plaque from between the teeth. To keep gum disease away, brush gently below the gum line; regular use of mouthwash or dentifrice is not recommended because they may contain alcohol which can dry out gums and cause bleeding that leads to infection.
